    Picked this up at thrift store. Not sure if it is open sugar or should have a lid? Appears to be the Cabbage Rose pattern.

      You are right and this pretty Sharon Cabbage Rose pink depression glass sugar originally would have had a lid. The lids broke more often then the sugar bottoms so they are much harder to find and more expensive than the bases.
