Pictured are vintage Christmas items dating from the 1920's-1930's. The boot is a German made candy container which opens at the top, and could be hung from a tree. It is paper mache, and has felt around the top. The tree is a miniature goose feather tree which stands nearly 5" tall. The feathers are dyed green, and thin brown paper is wrapped around the trunk. At the end of each branch is a red berry. The stand is wooden and is marked Germany on the bottom. The miniature book is "A Christmas Carol" penned by Charles Dickens. The cover is leather and the book is also illustrated. This was given as a gift to someone on Christmas, 1918.
