I'm trying to figure out what I have on my hands here. This is something I found in my storage (not sure where it came from?? gift?) Can anyone help? Looks great, just not sure what it is. Thanks in advance!

a number of glass companies made very similar 'Sandwich Glass' patterns. Yours appears to be amber glass in the "Early American Sandwich - #41" pattern made by Duncan and Miller in the 1940s. Here is a link to a patent for the design: http://clicksnipwow.com/chataboutdg/img4308.search.htm

Judging by the color and form, I have to say this is not D&M, but made by Indiana Glass Co for Tiara Exclusives. Apparently Indiana got some of D&Ms moulds. Google Tiara Sandwich Glass and you'll see a bunch of this. Some of the line is Indiana's Sandwich pattern too, it was all lumped together when sold.

I also have a lot of the Tiara sandwich sets from salt & pepper to egg plate to baskets. amber in color.. I must have at least 50-60 pieces.. not sure what its worth but gonna save it for my granddaughter maybe one day it will be worth a lot..
