You never know what you might find in a Church basement ( leftover from a church bizarre). I had heard about these cigarette machines from ex smokers (before my time), but had never seen one till now.

Don't know if it is the same machine, but growing up in the 50's I used to sit and watch my neighbor Mr. Gordon use one very much like this ~ making multiple smokes in one shot. I thought it was the coolest thing at the time!
Even though I smoked for years, I never saw one of these in use. My cousin told me she used to sit & watch her Dad roll smokes at the kitchen table. Whenever she asked if she could try he always said NO, she grew up to be a smoker & still smokes.
I remember seeing people using these too. I think that some people are doing it again now that the price has gone up. I guess there will always be some people who can't quit or don't wish to. Go figure.
