Unique item. It is Hallmarked "PJ" or turned the opposite direction "CD", all though I believe it is more likely "PJ". It is 62.74 mm. long. I have done some research, but I keep hitting dead ends. Lovely, unique piece.

I have a book of German toys from the 1920s, and it looks like a lot of the rattles in the book, although not identical. There are no manufacturer names in the rattle section, sorry! Your rattle is just fabulous!
