These are a nice pair of candle sticks with sterling overlay on them, does anyone know the maker or timeline of these pieces, they are heavy for thier size and what might they be worth for insurance purposes?
These were made by Heisey, the pattern is Old Sandwich. The sterling design was more than likely done by a decorating company. The pattern was introduced in 1931, and the Neoclassical looking urns and sterling decoration are very typical of this period.
