Hi there
Cleaning out my secret back cupboard i came acroos this wonderful pait of hat pins in their original box. The measure 23cm and have what looks like a gold collar...no markings and the fancy decration is either glass...it tings or some other material. Very light in fact.
The name in the box reads....A Barrett & Sons...63 & 64 Picadilly London
I guess with that type of adress one would able to date them but my question is what are they made from and do u think that they are collectible?
Thanks a million.

Hello norman02. The hat pins are lovely. You might find more information from some of the fine articles offered right here - Collectors' Weekly - under the Clothing/Fashion/hats category. Also, here is a link to the American Hatpin Society:

Have fun tracking down the origins and history (that is my favorite part). DD@Phila
