Meisterstuck Doue Sterling Silver Pencil made in Germany. Yes, collectors item they are all limited edition, looks to be from the National Socialist era Germany. Your item looks real; but there are pot metal copies dumped on the market and has hurt values. Last real one I saw on the market was sold at auction for $185.00
Great feedback...Thank you so much Papa ;)
its 11cm

Great find! And good eye, AR8Jason. How much will 10K gold change the value from sterling?
10 K is approx 41.7 % pure gold the value would change it the meltdown category.
The engraved letters interest me. Was your grandad of German heritage? These initials might be I R or R I. But then might it be a Russian/Cyrillic script?
