Here's a very old and rare Coca-Cola Bottler magazine from 1914. More common Bottlers are from the 1930s and 40s. But finding one in the early teens is extremely difficult...in any condition. And while mine isn't the best condition, it's still intact.
40 pages with lots of ads on bottling machines, labels, caps, glass bottles, shipping crates and articles on bottling plants in South Carolina. And a few photos of horse-drawn wagons delivering Coca-Cola.
There's also a classified section in the back; FOR SALE: 50 wooden Coca-Cola shipping crates (6 dozen size)....FOR SALE: 100 gross 8-oz embossed crown Coca-Cola bottles...FOR SALE: 22 horsepower, 1913 Model International Coca-Cola truck, will sell for $550.

Hey Ray, is that your Crate on page 39?? Close to it anyway. Yours is a little newer I think but still a great history lesson for collectors.
Mine's a 48-bottle shipping crate. These are 72-bottle crates....and I doubt any exist anymore. I've never seen one. Again, some warehouse has these.....:)
That's good to know as well. Yes, let's dream of that warehouse! If you've never seen one they must be as scarce as hens you know what!
Great to see these rare documents posted for all to enjoy. Thanks for sharing this stuff with everybody Ray. You've built an impressive library of documents. Love 'em!
Awesome post Ray! Very informative, had no idea some of this stuff existed, & still exists!
Hey Ray, that is a nice oldie but goodie for sure.
