I had no idea how elusive cake stands were! I keep trolling thru second hand shops looking for a cake stand these past few months, and nothing until this week. It's not what I had imagined in my mind but... considering there have been no other options, for 2.99$=SOLD to me!
I have no idea of the maker or age, if anyone has any ideas, I would be most thankful!

Act Two of My Own Cat Rodeo :)
I have a white cat (deaf) that used to always make me late to work, me trying to get him in house, I'd have to sneak up behind him & snatch him super QUICK, but he'd always see my shadow or something and RUN!- & as I was running thru neighbor yard, hem of my pants catch on something in ground, but I was clueless & kept running & it felt like my pants just evaporated off my body & then I fall on ground Like, WHAT?JUST HAPPEN?WHO TRIP ME? There was a trail of shredded pants attached from Horseshoe Iron to me only left with my belt & beltloops. I was Rodeo entertainment that day!
And that was the start of my own Cat Rodeo!

Great shot of Kitty on the cake stand; that must have been a bit of a feat by itself. The cake stand is "Teardrop" by Indiana Glass from 1950s-19780s.
