This was my Nana's and was always displayed on her coffee table. I never asked her where she purchased it or about her interest in Gouda. Now that I have discovered and enjoy Gouda pottery, I would like to learn more about this pattern and could not find it on the best Gouda information site: Gouda designs.

The first site shows you the pattern name...STYGEN The second site (scrool way down) tells you it was made in 1927.

This last site has a vase that is very close to matching your pattern. It is also Stygen.

Hello. This was made in Gouda by Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (PZH). The decor is called 'Stygen'. Date is 1927. It was painted by Gerrit Nicolaas Veerman. The model number is 1085. I hope this solves your question? Stuart from Gouda-Design.
