The first time I ever saw this jug was in a book about Nanny Still and it appeared on a picture showing a table laid with pieces from Still, so I thought (and everybody does) that this design was one of hers. Well, it happens to be Okkolin's, another designer for the same factory. Gossipping goes that they were "copying"each other designs constantly... bad workmates!
Anyway, Okkolin proved to be a top designer himself and this jug is a good sample of it. Not only thecolourbuttheshape is simply amazing.
Next week I'll upload a pretty simmilar jug by Still (but rounded in shape).
