Baume is a high quality watch maker. See the link for the company. The case should be marked as to gold content, either outside or on the inside of the case back. Solid gold would make it worth a little bit more. The "diamonds" are of such a size that if real, they are worth very little on the scrap market. They are worth much more on the watch as a whole.
This watch is worth much more with all its original parts and pieces in tact. The true value of this piece is that it is an early Baume with a terrific design. Some collector would love to have it.
