I love this old photo! This week would have been my Grandpa's birthday. I miss him. I love how I would get to sit right next to him! It made me feel so special! And those cakes!!!YUM YUM YUM. I was so lucky to have spent so much time w/ my Grandparents. They made me feel so loved and safe. I miss them every day.

Manikin & scandinavian_pieces,
Thank-You! All of my cousins were scared of him, but he was a big teddy-bear! He had six children, someone had to lay the law down! He worked really really hard so his family could have all the things they needed, he was generous and he took care of his mother also, I really respect him for that.
He wasn't perfect, but I don't think he got the credit that he really deserved in all the wonderful things that he did... He loved his family! I was lucky!
Except for the eyebrows! I did inherit those, Thank-God for Tweezers!
LOL Beaux :) on the tweezers
he sounds like he was a very good man , worked hard and and I love he cared enough to care for his Mother too ! A very special photo to treasure !!!!!
Merry Christmas Beaux !
