There were taken in our city 4 mo before Elvis died . My friend was the chauffeur at Hotel and they had ice cream together in night when Elvis couldn't sleep he went down to kitchen . These photo's were given to me from a person that sat in front row that night but had a bad camera and the big stage light was blocking Elvis their were about 24 photo's in album , was missing one set of negatives which stayed with photo's . I sold them 8 years ago and got them back :-) The person made copies and returned them per ebay allowing it after he stole photo's and put them on his web sight. So I got them back

He had just been here Bellin before he died . I am not the Elvis fan my husband is I like all kinds of music . But not heavy metal ! :-) I remember when the beatles came to our town and that was a near riot ! I had to pick up my sister from concert downtown Milwaukee and there were a thousand kids on street to find her and traffic wow I nearly had a heart attack as I had only been driving less than a yr and in the country only . Elvis did not draw that attention at this time in his life .
These are cool shots Manikin! Every time I see shots of Elvis during this time, I'm reminded that he had so many people around him and still they couldn't seem to help him with his sleep and or depression he suffered from later in life.
