The length of this necklace/anklet? is 10 inches. It was possibly silver plated (now worn off) looks like nails or wire brads used to weld on old type jingle bells. Welded end- chain link looking, the ends or the nail heads have a floral stamping. Old hook type end welded with same floral stamp. Any ideas as to where from or what this piece is? I found it at an old dumping site from 1800's that had been closed.

the jungle bells are not typical with holes. the bells have no bead inside and the round bells look like grinning mouths.

Research dug up some interesting finds--This may be a belly dancers anklet, very old though, rough made, weld/soldered links are uneven and appear to be hand curled. (none are alike or completely round. They look like wire brads made into links.
