The Last of the Mohicans: A Narrative of 1757 is a historical novel by James Fenimore Cooper, first published in February 1826. It is the second book of the Leatherstocking Tales pentalogy and the best known. The Pathfinder, published 14 years later in 1840, is its sequel.
I am not sure what printing this book is ? It is dated and given as a gift in 1909 but the original owner died prior her name is in book also and a letter .
Anyone know if this book is any good ? Or just a novelty to hold on to ?

It was printed in 1929. It is probably just something to hold on to because you can purchase a copy in slightly better shape for $4.

Oh just one question they gave it as a gift in 1909 so that has me confused on date and could see nothing in book to date it . Thanks again for help Auction .
