This is a nice "Transition" style wrist watch. The early wrist watches were orginally a smaller pocket watch fitted to use a strap and place on your wrist, Elgin made theirs about 1911 and other brands around the same time. What I can see of this piece, it appears to be a key wind movement. the K18 suggest that is possible 18 carat gold case, but with out better pictures I can't say for sure. This is a keeper for sure. Thanks for sharing and hope this gave you a little insight on it. Better pictures of the movement and serial #'s would lead you to a more positive results on your treasure. Regards, Kerry

Many thanks for the advice, here is some more info.In the back it says 9333 and I have posted two more pictures of the movement, hope that helps the ID of the watch. I have also noticed that the strap loops are an after modification, pity I suppose that devalues it.
I am uploading two more watches today hopefully.
