These dolls absolutely fascinated me although there is no real amount of value in them, just a beautiful piece in my showcase & all who see them love them. These dolls are from Mexico, hand-crafted, depicting the Mexican Culture & these two were named; The Pepper Growers. All paper mache except their face which is made of clay. The detail of the face has kept its beauty all these years in which these particular dolls are over 20 yrs old & they are in mint condition. As I have read through my research & understand, these dolls became souvenirs when tourists started visiting Mexico & the Mexican villages started selling their unique dolls.
