This bus was made by Freeport Toys & Manuf of Freeport Ill. It is made of a thick cast aluminum and appears to be a copy of the old cast iron Arcade bus. I have seen these at shows for sale as Arcade buses. The decals are worn off this one but the paint is still pretty nice. It measures just under 8- 3/4 inches long.

I got one very similar when I was a little boy- back in the early 50's...and I still have it stored away...... somewhere

I have the same bus in my collection. Mine is marked inside on one side The Realistic Toy Co. And on the other side Freeport Ill. made in the USA. Don't see that much any more.

AzTom, Hello. I thought I would talk over one of your items. Love this! Have History with taking a trip so many times on the Greyhound! Lol!, I apologize, I feel I did not answer your Question early about the record. I seen the E-bay descript., I personally do not use ebay for records, they are good for alot of things, however, if you ask most disc collectors, 1 out of 3 will say the same. With discs it is better in person. Pics do not capture all scratches and other defects. Some will not show a pic of vinyl or all of it. Even empty covers have been sent. Record conventions, held yearly, are good bets (By the way, I think it is cool you are around alot of vinyl!). Local I do as well, but no store or shop, just by word and a ad in a few independent shops, whom I do on occasion deal with on the side, like, Hey, you have a customer that needs that Beatles LP. Sort of like that. I use the goldmines record guide, 2016 edition. It is as big as a family Bible!! Lol!, It is published yearly. Some who post discs for sale do not know the worth themselves, causing a low bid. I do look at and scan the top 25 inthe live auction, but to use it only as a tool for what is looked for. Playing Music and records is all i have ever done and I am 50 this year, so, I will continue!! If you see a nice LP around you, feel free to ask me, just give me lable number, artist, and title of LP. I do not need the date. I will give you market value rate. I have that info, and oh, the price/worth of discs has alot of factors, not how popular, but missprints, quantity of pressings, location (Some areas it is easier to obtain discs as others), and yes, like you said, cover art. Did not mean to ramble! Lol!! Good talking to you and...Go Greyhound!! Thomas.

Thanks for reply. I have very few bus stories. I don't get much off ebay anymore and haven't sold on there in a few years. I do use the completed listing a lot checking on prices. there is way more than a thousand records at the antique mall so picking one to check on would not be practical with my limited experience.

    Thanks Nicefice, SEAN68, toytyme, rocker-sd,
