Another great thrifted find. Vintage or retro barware is always so much fun, so eye-catching, sometimes slightly zany, even. Mad Men has given all this stuff mass appeal again, and I like Mid Century barware because it's elegant but with a slightly masculine feel. Not to mention great typography as you can see here.
The tray is by Couroc of California and it still had the original label on the back. This guy measures 8.5" square and is inlaid with wood. What made this such a fun find was that I ended up learning about phenolic resin and the origins of bakelite in the process!
