I'm a tea drinker and an Anglophile, always admiring vintage teapots and tea tins. This elegant porcelain beauty was found at a local thrift store, in fantastic condition. Many times coming across old tea pots, you'll find stains or small cracks and fractures. But she was just as lovely as the day she was formed.

It's by Rosenthal and is made in Bavaria. Marked K 368, it measures 10.5" high with the lid on and 10" wide from spout to handle.

Rosenthal is still around, making very expensive fine china. But I love this teapot for it's tall styling, and elegant simplicity. It was fun to learn more about the Rosenthal company and their history of producing quality china.

This really is a beautiful example of Rosenthal China. I couldn’t have said it better myself.... “elegant simplicity.” I also collect teapots. Thanks for sharing this lovely piece!!
