Bought at an antique store. Has letter from second owner stating that it came off the Santa Monica Pier probably in the 30's and was restored in 1957.

    loftbed: It seems to me this popcorn machine had a covered light in it to keep the popcorn warm-also some of the peanut machines from the same era had a light in them-
