This is a stunning all original cobalt blue Sparton 558 “sled” mirror/wood radio manufactured in 1938. This 558 is an upgrade version of the model 557 of the same year. Both are a Teagle design. The mirrored panels were also available in peach. This Art Deco radio is in impeccable condition with only very minor signs of its age or use. The black finish on the wood cabinet looks factory fresh. There are two minor specks in the mirror front and that’s it! The radio measure 17.5×8.75×8.5" and weighs about 13 lbs.
