      Songwriter53, picture 1 & 3 are upside down! lol If you swing the pictures by 180 degrees, the 3 characters on the left means - 'around or bypass the bamboo forest' and the 2 characters on the right means - 'clear stream or creek' - scenery of Kyoto I guess. The standard of calligraphy is not the best probably because the monk has to produce 350 copies!
