I know this kinds of cast iron mechanical banks are popular, but this one has no markings so I can't tell who the manufacturer is or what date it was produced. Works beautifully.
I have seen the same bank without the black face, called Humpty Dumpty. If anyone has any info regarding this treasue, lemme know!

Looks to be a reproduction bank with a repainted "Black Americana" face to attract buyers.

I think whole bank is a reproduction too
This bank looks fairly new so I agree it is a reproduction. Any ideas on what this kind of bank is worth? I know plenty of folks are collecting black American art these days.
We used to have these in out booth yrs ago for about 15-25 dollars
my sister as still got the one we had as children it was very old then.i am 77 years young.
Thanks Manikin. Hopefully my bank is worth more now.
Ralph, what a wonderful antique your sister has.
You can buy them on ebay for about $10 with the traditional painting.
