Hi,
I just bought theses two items from Goodwill. I though they looked interesting. As you can see, the point screws off so that it can be filled with something. They weigh about 2.5 lbs each and the inside glass looks quite thick. Does anyone know what theses are and what they are/were used for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If nothing else, doing the research on these items led me to this website. I am hooked and thrilled to see all of the wonderful items people have and love. You're right. Yesterday I found something on ebay that looks similar. They describe it as a vintage middle eastern scent oil bottle cruet silver, glass. Check out the ebay bottle and tell me if you agree.
I'll make sure to do the size reference thingy next time.
