A new links and charm bracelet Christmas gift. Had left many a nose print on the display case where this once resided. Gladly it will have a happy new home.
Not sure why the charm has a small hole at each end of the oval. Any ideas why?

Maybe was going to be part of a bracelet,a link instead of the charm itself? In any case, it's very pretty
Thanks. Happy New Year to all.

I think it is a definitely a section from another item of jewellery, or it could also have been intended as a pendant, or was perhaps the clasp of a necklace.
I don't know the reason, but its very interesting. By the way, I think it is June's birthstone (mine) because June has 2 birthstones, Alexandrite and Pearl and this has both. I love it.
Ah, who knows? But I like it too. Maybe it is a whistle (kidding).

Does it open, like a locket? Perhaps it is a way to open it. In any event it is a beautiful piece. I snap up any vintage charm bracelet I happen to run across!
miragirl - it does look like June's birthstones (mine too!)
Hi,
Could it originally be a slider?
Greetings Agram.m. Just what I was thinking.

Hi there ... no it doesn't open. Tried that first thing. Oh well now it is a bracelet charm. Thanks for your suggestions folks.
