SalvagedMe…
(20 items)
Finally found a copy of the picture my grandmother had when I was a little girl! Evidently there is some dispute as to the artist, but it is said to have been painted turn of the century and is actually referred to by other names as well. Anyone else have information on it?

I did check it out, what a neat website. Ironically I also have a framed print of the little boy and collie right above, evidently it was a calendar. Thank you bratjdd!!
You are Welcome, Im glad that I could help
Thank you scandinavian_pieces!
I have sold a few of these prints over the years.I have most often heard it reffered to as "Found". It was a very popular print in the 30's and 40's. It's been reproduced many times over the last 25 years.

Thanks rocker-sd!
I LOVE this...and by the way, I bought same print at a Connecticut thrift store twenty years ago. The picture really tells a heartwarming story.
My grandmother had it also, but it was old and brittle. I found a large print and framed it..I love it ! I am also looking for another one my grandmother had of a lone wolf on a snow covered cliff overlooking a village below.
