Two new additions to the Black History collection. The first is a matted and framed cover of a childs coloring book. I have four copies of Little Black Sambo and this is the first for me where the artist has changed Sambo from an Indian boy to an African American boy. Great find for $5!

The news paper cartoon is from 1926.

    I am interested in buying the book "Little Black Sambo" to read to my grandchildren. It was my favorite book when I was in first grade.

    Yvonne this is not a "for sale" site. There are over 300 entries on ebay from $.09 to $6,000.00 !

    I used to work for the restaurant. Can I have it. ;-)

    BTW ... coffee was a nickle with the wood nickle token. That was the late 1970s (before anyone date me back to pre-WWII).
