very nice find!
The back half looks the part of a neat old item, but the aging/patina on the fenders and hood looks very suspicious to me. Best case scenario someone restored it and wanted to make it look old. Worst case scenario... well I still have hope.
In any case, it still looks cool. I too would really like to see some more images,

Looks to be made of wood................don't think I've ever seen a wooden pedal car that was sold to be used as such. I may be way off base but baring any new information i'm thinking it's an Ornamental Item and fairly recent..SORRY and I hope I'm wrong.
