This piece is so intricate and well made. The base of it seems to be a heavy chord that is completely wrapped (braided) around in different glass beading and heavy brass findings. I can't image how much time it took to make this necklace. It reminds me of something that Wendy Gell might make and for some reason I feel I might have seen it for sale in an upscale department store in the 80's. It's like a crazy quilt jewelry necklace. If anyone knows anything about this I'd really appreciate it. I purchased it on etsy but not from a crafter, the seller had no idea who made this piece.

    Thanks

I have of these...very similar. I have always been fascinated by glass beads. I bought mine in an antique store in the 1990's, but don't know who it's made by or it's actual age. I love mine; it goes with absolutely anything because it has every color in it!
