    This is what I think is a Bottle Stopper ...
    If you pull the sting on the back he will give you a salute by taking off his hat.....
    Anyone who know a bit more about this item......

      Nice find. Tip of the hat stoppers were made by Anri. I have read that no two were alike. Yours fits the description and if it is an original it is a good find. As I recall they were called Tip of the hat or something similar.

      If it is marked it is probably worth $20 to $50.
