SKJOLD means "shield" in Danish and so the items from this series show a shield in the shape of an spyral in each side of them.
It was created as sort of an answer to the Kubus set of kitchen containers designed by Wagenfeld in the 1930s and produced later by Holmegaard.
One of the things I like the most from this series is the design of the jugs (both jug and creamer) which cannot be more simple... and they fit perfectly in one's hand.
They came in this amazing shade of blue, akvablue, another dark blue -seldom seen- and gray.

No, I haven't yet... there's a couple of items from this series I stil have to find, such as that and the three sided small vase... some day I'll get them! LOL
