Antique microphones have an outstanding look, they are in the art deco style and looks so great.
I have many of them, here from left to right :
- 1947 ronette mercurius ( Switzerland)
- 1940 's Synton ( Swiss)
- Turner ( USA)

Love all these also, been looking for some for ages, never can find them. How & where did you find so many? They look great, nice collection!
Hi, I bought the Ronette and the piezzo in a flea market near where I live, for the Turner I bought it at los angeles antique market at long beach in september and the synton was found on ebay
I try to buy them for around 40 € a piece but I see some in the Netherlands going up to 600 €, that's crazy prices
I have the Turner and the Piezzo, but the two on the left I have never seen before. Really nice! Specially the Synton!
Hi thanks for you comments, I was wrong about the ronette mercurius it's from the Netherlands.
Ronette copied microphones and this one looks really like the airline ribbon microphone
I have to say these are the best examples I have ever seen, that I would love to own. They are all pretty valuable I imagine. Phil.
Beautiful! How come mikes today are so ugly?
