I'd love for someone to tell me about this chair/desk. When I found it, the springs (in the seat) and the upholstery were almost destroyed. It was upholstered in a leather look black fabric-backed material. It appeared to be the original upholstery. It is oak. The side away from the camera has an arm that is about 11 inches wide (from front to back). The other arm is about 4 inches wide from front to back. The side nearer the camera is a magazine/newspaper rack and has a mission flavor. The front legs have "Eastlake" like carving. The bottoned section under the seat is a drawer that pulls out. This chair shouted, "Take me home with you." I had to take this chair home and give it a little TLC. It is beautiful and unique. Can anyone tell me about it - how old is it, where did it come from and what is it called? I'd love to know. Thanks.
