    I dont know anything about it as in what year it might be?
    I havent had time to research yet but when I do I will likly take off the unsolved mystrey mark.

      Not a rod, it is either a boat reel or winch. Alvey products sell for big money. They have a website in the USA and could probably provide you with information.
