RARE and hard to find, WWI USMC photo of Marine with collar insignia, shooting badge, good conduct medal, French Fourragere shoulder cord, and 2nd division sholder insignia. Also has photographers stamp embossed on photo. Found last year on Ebay at "buy it now" for $6.99 plus shipping.....
Brief history lesson...when the US went overseas in WWI, the Marines were attached to the US Army's 2nd Division. The Marines adopted the Army insignia, and wore it on their uniforms.
