I have this book that i found at a goodwill and was wondering if anyone may have any information about it or if it's a rare book. I tried to research online but no luck. On the bottom of the book it's marked
"A history of the literature of ancient Greece"
London, Parker,1858

Aesop's Fables or the Aesopica is a collection of fables credited to Aesop, a slave and story-teller believed to have lived in ancient Greece between 620 and 560 BC. The first printed version of Aesop's Fables in English was published on March 26, 1484 by William Caxton. Many others, in prose and verse, followed over the centuries.
