Is this worn with a chain? kinda large for a pendant, don't you think? I found this at a "out in the country" yard sale a couple of years ago. The seller had it in an unwanted box of Jewelry at .25 each piece. This piece caught my eye mainly because I collect small silver items. As I observe the tedious metal work involved in making the object, I wonder if the maker of this piece spent alot of time constructing it or took pride in making it. I polished the piece just enough to show a signature. Is it old? Does it have spiritual meaning? What is it's origin? Who made my find? ~Jenniecollects

hi jenni -- these are bali balls (made in bali) -- they are used in making costume jewelry -- check out my site on a bali ball necklace that i made when i was in my 20s -- that would be during the 70s -- wear it at christmas time as it is a bit over the top for everyday wear -- you can still buy them at jewelry making sites or from old costume jewelry
was studying it some more -- those flowers are found many times on mexican silver, and also on estrucan bracelets -- still a very common design even today -- the pic however leads me to suspect early mexican work -- doubt it is a hallmark but a scene of some sort -- doesn't appear Asian best i can make out on the pic
if you notice in your second pic there is a loop off to the right of the scene -- this could have been attached to another item
