This was a great score for me. Trifari Pat Pend, perfect condition. The quality of this piece as well as all Trifari from this period is hard to beat. I have learned so much about jewelry by just holding, feeling and looking closely at the construction. It is the most important part of knowing how to tell if a piece is authentic or reproduction, lesser quality copy or a straight up fake. If I had one piece of advice for any new collectors I would say go to an antique store and just start studying and looking closely at pieces, signatures, constructions, settings, stones etc. You will quickly start seeing things that can help you in your hunts.
