Beautiful pair of Lusters. Hoping someone could give some information about them. I bought them because they are green. 11" tall 5-1/4 wide at top.

Lustres were originally made in many different glass treatments (cased, opaque, handpainted, engraved, etc) in the Victorian period as mantle ornaments. They have been reproduced as early as the 1930s and have also been made in more recent years in Czechoslovakia/Czech Republic and other places in Eastern Europe. I suspect yours are not as early as the Victorian period, due to the color, the look of the decoration, and the look and condition of the gilding. The color is very nice, and I really like the cattail designs!
