Ok all you cats posting these terrific coca-cola finds, you've made me green with envy!! Can't even begin to keep up with ya'll, so I'll post my crappy old ,not even "coke" but soon to be coke truck , for the sake of my feeling left behind by all your terrific posts. Got a paint job on it yesterday, waiting for the stickers to get here, then clear-coat, maybe a few more details to finish, then assembly. Will up-date when finished.
The middle 2 pics are of my inspiration for the project, a NOS version!

Okay, I'm confused Bernie. Are you building this from scratch or is this an original Coke truck that you are repainting, re-decaling?
Hey Bernie, this is going to be great when finished! See you have the patients I don't.
Going to be sweet! You have the eye my friend
Yeah, I know how you feel Bernie, seems like a couple months ago somebody was posting some sweet clocks and I was feeling left behind! Cool project!!!!
Thanks for the words of encouragement Perry & Dave, you've both been leading the charge with your great finds lately.
Ray, picked this up a short while age, posted pics of the "orig" finish, decided to make it into a "my version" of this iconic truck. Since it is not all original anyway, I'll be adding a few improvements that will make it more of a" custom'.
Earlycoke hit the nail on the head when he said it best on this post http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/40259-coke-vendo-33?in=92
This describes me to a tee!
Wow! I just saw the original truck posted. Seems like that grill will be the most difficult task...to shape it to conform to the front of the truck. I'm with signaholic...this would be sitting unfinished for years if I attempted to tackle this. Can't wait to see the finished truck.
Hey if your doing this for you, that's all that matters. These purists probably woud never buy something in the condition you started with, I happy to see being saved and loved.
Thank-you rocker-sd for the nice comment!
