Hi Kinghal
Im glad to see another Ottenberg King Henry V111 doll as you dont see that many around (well at least i havent)
Ottenberg dolls do pop up from time to time on ebay usally asking anything from $50.00 to $200.00 usually A Scots Guard or Beefeater doll.
Ottenberg Handmade Dolls were started by Ilse and Richard Ottenberg a German couple that were interned in England During World War 2.
And to while away the time they started to make dolls which after the war they Turned in to a buisness which became Ottenberg Handmade in Derby England They were even sold through The Liberty of London Store which is a famous London Store
Thier dolls are very collectable( Especially if you have them in the original Liberty store box)
. but in the current Economic Climate i would advise you to hold on to them for the time being (Thats if your thinking of selling him)
As his value may increase in time when the global economy improves.
Your King Henry V111 looks More of a mature Figure than the version i have if you like i will take a couple more pics of my doll so you can compare the different versions. also your doll still has the original tag which helps.
regards PM
