Wooden ammo box for the Browning M1917-A1 water cooled machine gun, in crusty condition. This box held .30 caliber belt fed ammo, in the one picture you can see the stencil of the rounds that was printed so the box would be loaded correctly. Someday I will get around to replacing the leather handle. My students love this item when I bring it in to history class.
