What year did she emigrate to Canada? She may have needed it to prove her age or identity. That is a nice document to have.
1911 is when her and her sister came to Canada. Their fair here was paid for by another family(Decker) that they were to marry into,but My Grandmother didn't. She took evening classes to learn english and worked during the day to pay it back.
