This is the Astatic DR-10, made in the 50's. I didn't know it was called the Synabar until I found the old ad above. Unfortunately, mine came without the logo. It's obviously an atempt from Astatic to get close to the design of the Shure 55. It comes with a crystal element and is much lighter (1.1lb) than the Shure 55 (2.2lb).
