I have posted a Micro Mosaic brooch on this Show and Tell page with a hallmark I cannot decote. Because I'v found one on another similar brooch (also with no further identification I'm very interested if there is somebody who can help me to identify this hallmark on the photo). What country, period and so on. Please who can help?

Hi - It looks like the double key hallmark for Italy, possibly the Vatican studios which made quite a bit of MM jewelry for the tourist trade.

19th century, I should add. Generally before 1870.

    amdm,
What I welcome your valuable comment. As you can see on this link: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/38495-chi-rho-micro-mosaic-brooch?in=1344 where I've put one of my Micro mosaic jewelry this hallmark I think to decote here but it's pretty unclear. Perhaps you can tell me something more about this brooch with Christ character because I have the idea you know a lot about micro mosaic, my great passion. I would be very grateful!

The brooch does look Italian, though the hallmark is different from your other one. I can't say I recognize it, but can research and get back to you.
