This case front clock celebrates Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders. It was made about 1899.

The movement was made by Western Clock Mfg. Co. (forerunner of Westclox). The patent date on the back of the movement housing is September 22, 1885. The back of the case casting is patented April 25, 1899. This type of clock, with a cast case front, was popular around 1890 - 1910, and many have movements by Western Clock Mfg. Co.
