This working AM only radio has 3 glass tube, 2 Rectangular Metal Tubes, 2 Cylindrical Metal Tubes, and 1 Cardboard Tube inside.
It was made by D.R. Company in Detroit Michigan, with assistance from RCA, Westinghouse and General Electric.
I have tried to find out more information on the web but to date have not been successful.

The DR is Detrola Radio Co. The RCA, Westinghouse and GE is just a listing of companies that DR used patents of. The "cardboard tube" is a capacitor can. The "rectangular tubes" are the IF cans. The schematic can be found in Riders volume 8, Detrola page 5.

It is a Detrola Model 139E Tombstone. They also made a tabletop with the same chassis - the eyetube. Yours is missing the "eye" cover in front.
I made a mistake, it's a model 149E.
Mark B....I have just viewed your comment (it is #3) and think you are wrong. Nothing is missing from the front. There is a glass covering over the "eye tube", I just think the picture does not show it correctly. Many thanks for your comments; the radio works perfectly.
